p.1 #1 · Sandisk Card Error

Hi guys,

Any help with this problem would be much appreciated. Finished up a shoot today, came home, removed a card from my card reader and plugged in the card from today. Booted up Finder in Mac, only to find it thought my photos from yesterday (taken on a different camera) were on the card. I guessed it was just being silly as both the cards are EOS_DIGITAL named. So, ejected, and reinserted the cards only to have the same problem. I then tried this on my other mac, same problem so I booted into Windows... same problem. The file names are the shots from yesterday, but obviously no images on the card, just the names. Put the card back into my 5D2 only for it to announce that it couldn't read the images.

Downloaded Sandisk RescuePro but helpfully, I don't have the serial number of my cards (I stupidly threw the packaging out.) Sandisk RescuePro found the right number of files, but being the trial version, only recovered 25 of them. I'm stuck finding software which is free or less than buying a Sandisk licence for the software.

Anyone with any ideas either how to fix it without software (unlikely, I guess..) or a working solution for Windows or Mac, it'd be greatly appreciated!
