I just got my order from the Foto Konijnenberg shop in the Netherlands. Most of the time I buy my Gitzo, Wimberley & RRS stuff from them. Not many places sell RRS equipment in Europe and sometimes this shop has some unbelievable deals. I bought a ballhead and a monopod head this time. I didn't really need those, but the deals where so good that I couldn't say no. They still have the monopod head if anybody need one. It's only 63,50 Euro (including 19% VAT). RRS charge you $ 150 for it.
The ballhead + lever clamp cost $ 390 at the RRS shop. I payed 129 Euro (including 19% VAT)
I cant find anything like the deal you pointed out on the BH-40 and clamp !!
Was there a 1 day super sale or do you think that was a price cock up ??
Its showing up at 409.50 ?
Did I miss something ?
Greg
They have raised the price on that ballhead. But the monopod head still cost 63,50 Euro. It was not a one day deal. I could see it for more than two weeks

When you consider the exchange rate, those prices are high compared to the US price. Perhaps it is different for you in Sweden.
Those prices are very low compared to the prices in the USA (when considering the exchange rate). Show me a link to any shop or website in the USA where you can buy for those prices. You will not find anything even close to it Here you have it in US dollars
Really Right Stuff BH-40 + B2 AS II LR for $ 190
Really Right Stuff MH-01 for $ 94

I stand corrected.
Looking at the link, I did not see the BH deal you quote, but the BH-40 with no clamp lists for 161.75 euro = $239.86 based on today's exchange. RRS list the item at $295 which is more expensive than your vendor. I did the mental math incorrectly. I wonder what shipping and taxes will add to that price ... then there is the issue of warranty.

You will have the same warranty as if you bought it from RRS. And you can send it to RRS for repair without sending it to the shop.
The super deal is over for the ballhead. But for the monopod head it's still a very very low price
Looks like a ten euro fee for something, plus 2.5% if you use a credit card? Then add shipping and customs fees...the savings erode pretty fast. Still cheaper, but not sure it's worth the hassle for folks in the US.

Ten Euro fee for something what's that, because I never pay it.
And not more hassle ordering from this shop than doing it from RRS.
But I saved hundreds of US dollars just on those two heads compared to buying from RRS
Thanks for pointing this out, Lars, I was not aware it was even possible to get RRS equipment from Europe (last time I ordered some ---a couple of years ago--- I did not find a better solution than ordering from RRS directly).

There are not many shops that sell RRS stuff anywhere in the world. This shop is very good. But you have to monitor their prices like you wrote. Some stuff are very expensive and other have a really good price.
