a few days ago, powering up my Colorspace O shows bands on the top of the LCD display. it looks like every second row of the LCD is white for about 15 rows. to me this seems like the LCD is going. i have been thinking of a Colorspace UDMA anyway but since i don't have any UDMA CF cards yet, it's not been urgent. it's over a year old and has been extremely reliable to this point. the drive copies correctly and otherwise seems to work fine. has anyone else had anything like this happen? i have an older HyperDrive Space i can use if i need to but a Colorspace is much nicer.
ColorSpace O was rather slow, even for it's day. The ColorSpace UDMA is faster even with old Extreme III cards, and much faster as card speeds increase.
