That refers to two long threads now discussing the organic (film-like) look of the 5D vs. the 'digital' look of the 5DII.....
EDIT: some others were quicker than me
All of that seems to be talk from non-film shooters who may not know a zipper from Zeiss! OR, think Kodachrome is the name of a National park in the US West ( it actually does exist!)

Your target is to shoot stuff that moves. on your budget you have a choice of 1D or 2nd hand rebels 20D or possibly a 30D.
What will be the better image , the In Focus 4mp or the out of focus 8mp+ file?
Your other choice would be a used 40D, and the outcome to evaluate would be more like 99 In Focus 4 MP images or 80 In Focus 10 MP images. Out of the 99 4MP images, half of them would also be more noisy than the 10 MP images.

All joking and references to those other threads aside, I think I would pick my old 1D files as being the most "film-like" (as in very fine grain, moderately-contrasty, moderately-saturated Fujichrome daylight color transparency film exposed in good light and processed at normal ISO) out of all the DSLR's I've used.
