p.1 #1 · First day with 7d in the water -surf

So i'm not as thrilled with the image quality of the 7d as I am with the video, in fact i am a bit disappointed but I can live with it. Yesterday was the first time in the water with this camera, my main complaint when you are shooting video and you snap the shutter that the camera does not record video until you stop taking photos other than that I am pretty happy with my new set up. take a look at the video and let me know what you think.

7d surf video

I'm pretty happy with the IQ from your shots, everything looks killer at this size.

Looks like there is some nice color in there, but please post these at least 640 on the long end, 240x160 doesn't quite do it.

Like the first image a lot. Slow shutter speed on the first image or was it while you were shooting Video. Looking forward to shooting some video with my 5D Mark II when I'm in the islands in Dec.

actually it was while i was shooting video but i first swam out with the cam set to shutter pri and swam in 20 minutes later to check the settings and instantly switched to manual. so the first one was an accidental slow shutter but it came out pretty nice.

Too funny : ' )

Even the links are a little small to judge. Overall appearance seems to look very good at that size
