So I had this lousy color scan of a pumpkin patch photo.
So I tried bringing it back to life and converting it to B&W.
So I got lost and ended up with this.
So?
Un-named phantom photographer.
I dare you to tell me how to fix this thing .

Charlie

Crop 50% of the top and 50% off the bottom that will fix it

Like you, Alan, I'm not much of a math student. But if I crop 50% off the top and then crop 50% off the bottom of what is left, wouldn't I still have 25% of the original photo remaining?
Examples shown:

Or perhaps that's what you meant in the first place? Yeah, right. I know what you meant in the first place .

My apologies to all- I wanted to post a pumpkin patch shot and what I had stunk in B&W. I'll never again be so frivolous.
Until the next time.

I think you have the makings of a good photoshop texture, though I don't think that was the aim.

This is Charlie's mind.
This is Charlie's mind on...well...fill in the blank...
You don't post florals, and you act tough.
I know better.
Deep down, you're a liberal, flamboyant artist dying to break free from tradition!!!
Let it out, Charlie! Let it out! Be you! Paint that canvas! Shoot that floral! Order something with fruit juice and an umbrella, and settle in for a nice night of popcorn and "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"!!!!
Meh....I could be wrong.

Looks like a great opening scene for "The Twilight Zone".
I'm not sure why, but I like it...

Fix it? Just re-post it in the digital art forum and see what reactions you get... but say it was purely intentional, involved at least 15 layers and hours of work.
