What do you guys suggest for filters and memory cards

I'm afraid this won't be much help:
-I have one screw on filter, a circular polarizer. When it is not on my lens, it goes in the hard case it came with. How many screw on filters could you possible need/have? And why wouldn't a filter wallet work?
-I only have one 16GB compact flash card, which I have never filled.
I know this isn't helpful, but I thought it would be nice if someone at least replied to your question...

I also keep my screw on filters in their original hard case when not in use. They fit nicely in my bag next to my 50mm lens, since it is small.
I keep my memory cars in a small vinyl wallet that I got from WalMart for around $4. It's fairly small, but can hold 8 SD cards. It also has a zipper which is pretty quiet. It works well for me.

I use the original hard case for my filters. For the compact flashes, I use a LowePro wallet that costs about $10 at Best Buy. It'll accommodate eight CFs with the original plastic covers and an additional two in the back pocket. The problem is, it looks really fat after you put all of those in. I have three of these since I started with 1gb Ultra IIs and now the other wallet only has 8gb CFs Extreme IIIs. Adorama had a sale last year that it only cost $4.00 each after rebates so I bought six at that time.
I have a Tamrac lens wallet that I haven't used since film days.

For filters I use the soft padded nylon filter cases that B&W sells. They have a smooth inside that is ok against the surface of the filter. The velcro closure is quick and easy to open, and stays securly shut. They also have a clear pocket on the outside to add a label to identify what is inside. I have several sizes of polarizers and two neutral density filters set up with these soft filter cases.
I don't really like hard filter cases. They could offer more protection from damage than a soft case, but they usually can open on their own, letting the filter out to get dirty or damaged.
For memory cards, I really like the card "wallets" that Think Tank sells. They two are nylon, and the larger ones hold up to 10 cards. They roll up into a nice package and have a velcro closure. There is a window on the outside to put a label in. on the inside, each pocket has a durable but transparent window, so that you can see any label on the card, and I make plenty of use of that feature. One part I really love is that they come with a little loop on one end, and a short "leash" with clips on each end. That allows me to secure the walet to my camera bag or my shirt pocket and reduce the chance of loosing the whole thing by accident.
The slight noise caused by velcro is not an issue for what I shoot, but if I was worried, I might get a fresh card out in advance, and keep it in a shirt pocket, and then swap out using that card. It is also practical to not close the velcro, and just keep the flap tucked in, and then keep the whole thing in a pocket to keep it closed, which would avoid noise.

Good thread with bad title. Try to make the title clear so the search engine can pick it up easily.
These days bags come with enough pockets to hold several memory cards so there's no need to buy an extra card holder taking up space unless you have too many of them and really need them to be specially organised.

I keep filters and cards in their original cases. When I used Lowepro products I kept filters and memory cards in one of the zippered pockets in whatever bag I used at the time. I now keep memory cards in the zippered pocket in the lid on a TT Speed Racer and filters along with other accessories in a TT Speed Changer which is attached to the Speed Racer.
