Long time reader and first time poster. Couldn't think of a better place then here for the first post. FM has been such a great resource to me and and it wouldn't be what it is without people like Steady and the others who regular offer critique and advice.

I am surprised we have not seen more Holiday (Christmas, etc.) themed photos here on the forum.

Perhaps New Years celebrations will bring more people to posting photos. (hint)

Here's a Simple Suggestion for you: Today, take a picture of someone you don't know (with their permission). Then give them a copy (for free) and wish them a Happy New Year.

Good will is a good thing to share.

The day flew by so quickly!

I have been working on a new Free Lesson I think will help lots of people here have some fun and make some more creative portraits. Whew...when writing and coding the day just zips by!

I also notice some more NEW members posting on the forum. That is always good to see.

WOW....I saw some outstanding photos today...really remarkable...

The thought I had was: "What a wonderful thing photography can be!"

Inspiring images can do that.
