I am contemplating getting rid of a Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR lens. I used it this past week in Alaska and had stellar results. I believe that this focal length is not for me as I believe I need a bit longer FL. I used this mostly with the 1.7x and 1.4tc's and it performed flawlessly. Overall,the condition of the lens is Excellent. There is a little white on the focus ring, but certainly does not affect performance of this lens. Glass is pristine, AF lighting fast, and everything works as it should. The lens hood shows a few marks, but is still in overall excellent condition. I am also including a Really Right stuff bracket that attaches to the foot and the Nikon C-PL1L drop-in circular polarizer. I will get detailed pics of the lens most likely tonight.
