I believe it is a simple typo . That guy was also using a 1Ds MarkIII and after working long hours (my assumption), he made a boo-boo and typed "5D MarkIII".
Yeah, probably a typo ....BUT I don't think Canon can keep the 5D 36 month product cycle at this point and we will see the 5D mkIII sooner then what people expected prior to the 7D announcement.
I love my 5D Mark II, but after seeing all the bells and whistles that the 7D has I wish the 5D Mark II had the same features that the 7D has. It wouldn't make it a better camera. Heck my 5D can still deliver the goods, but it's nice to have more bells and whistles that you can mess with.
I'm really going to be upset if Canon comes out with a 5D Mark III with all the features the 7D has. It's a good thing, but a bad thing at the same time since I already spend money on a 5D Mark II.

I shall be overjoyed and immediately upgrade both my 5D2's. I want a 7D with this 21 Mpixel full-frame sensor, built-in flash, and interchangeable focus screens. I almost don't care how much it costs.
I eagerly anticipate the 5D III. I expect it will at least have 21 Mpix, dual processors, and at least as good an AF system as the 7D. All in a package that handles noise at least as well as the 5D. Ought to be good! In the meantime I'm happy with my 5D.
