The other day I had the chance to work with a model on two different shoots with the same feel to them. We were going for a playful and carefree look. Just looking for any feed back you want to give!
what's with the weird magenta thing coming in from the right of most of the pics? I like the pics but kept wondering what the hell was happening at the right side of the frame.
Did you light the indoor shots with a big white reflector to the right?

Thanks guys.
PAWL- are you talking about the open shirt or the yellow one. I love the look of the yellow one but I am iffy on the other.
Josiah- Thanks! if you check out bensasso.com/blog you can see my lighting set up for the bedroom shoot.
Mac- Thanks!
Degnar- Thanks. I do like chopped head ones. dont know why but I do.
Tez- The magenta thing I added in post. some people add flare and I add magenta. go figure. If you check out my blog you can see the lighting set up
Hi, mostly talking about the long sleeve shirt. Yellow shirt is OK. Out of curiosity, is she insecure about something?
The model is beautiful, and I like the lighting on the indoor shots. Nice processing too, except...
Adding a magenta band on the side of the images...
That's got to be one of the most peculiar, arbitrary bits of "post processing" I've ever seen or heard of.
There are so many nice aspects to the pictures. However, I went through the whole bunch and couldn't come up with one I really liked.
1,2, & 3 - Long sleeves and magenta cast added. Magenta cast can be cropped away.
3, 4 & 5 - Sunglasses, tilted horizon and facing away from the camera too much (4)
6 I like many aspects of 6, but the way the face is shown, with part of the far eyebrow showing is ruining it for me.
7 & 9 are probably the best of the shoot.
8 & 11 have too much head cut off.
10 Nice aspects to this one too. I like the window in the background. On the whole is seems very unbalanced. She's centered, and the space on the right doesn't seem right, but has to be included due to the elbows in the pose.
Again, there is lots to like here, but lots of little things getting in the way of enjoying these.
