I never used one on my Pentax for 3 years, and the lcd is still as nice as the day I got it. I just don't want to remove the thing if its going to bugger my lcd on my D300. It (the cover, not the LCD) is already covered with little scratches and I find it makes reviewing more difficult in harsh light. Thanks, Eric Aug 19, 2009 at 12:51 AM

I've found that the very edges of the corners on the GGS protector (at least the one on the back LCD) tend to chip off or break off, but it doesn't really affect the functionality at all. Just surprised that they did so. Haven't heard other reports of this but it's happened on two protectors for me. Really, though, it has zero effect on the protection aspect and even at only $8 apiece, I haven't bothered to replace it if that tells you anything. Other than that, they're great. Cheap protection, looks like it came from the factory that way, very little glare... Maybe I'm just compulsive, but tempered glass or not, I'd rather have a layer of protection there.
