Here are a few pics I took at Road America this past weekend. I will try not to post the same angles Tim took because we seem to have the same taste in corners to shoot from ( Nice pics Tim).
Nice series I wish I could have made it around the track a little more but, ran out of time. I like the shots from around Canada corner and Mitchell bend. Turn six is also another one I'm going to spend more time at next year. The track is awesome but, so big. It's hard to set up in one place for some shots and see the whole thing at the same time. I'll have to move it double time next year.

That's why I spend three days there.
Normally I do spend 3 days camping there but, this year I was too busy with other stuff. I did make it there for a couple hours on Saturday and then vame back on Sunday but, was an hour late for the race
Interesting and from a different number of angles that I wouldn't have thought of. The invisible Billy Mitchel bridge in it's new configuration offers some really interesting angles. It's up or down, left or right and left. All depending on where you stand. #10 is interesting. Have to love Patron green, but after looking #1 is #1.
There are poison ivy, gravel and raspberry patches yet to be explored.
Where there used to be shadows, there's Sunlight in the morning. Kind of like opening the window shades on a busy sidewalk view. Thunder Valley has a new life.
I like the comp in #7, as mentioned, the S curve in full view in the frame is a nice way of showing the track. I really like #4 for the smooth pan, and good motion, just wish it was leveled out though, the angle does not do anything on that one for me.
I went on sat and sunday. I took my honda mini trail sunday to cover more ground. Its nice to spend 30 mins in a spot and then move on, when the race is roughly 3 hours long you can get to a lot of different spots. The terrain between 12-13 tore my legs up pretty good on sat. but its a great spot to shoot. Pants next year!
