I was looking at B&H 's info on the ne wFlex and minis and I had planned to get one Flex for on camera use then get several mini's for the various canon flashes. I noticed that B&H list the flex as a transmitter and Receiver but the mini is only listed as a transmitter. So my original plan is backwards according to these descriptions. Will the mini unit receive or are they only transmitters?

The Mini can only be set up as a tranmitter. TT5 can go both ways which is what I did and currently have four units. I had a mini for awhile but like the TT5 much better as a tranmitter as it seems to give me more range and dependability, maybe due to the larger antenna. It's only $20 more and I prefere dependability over size.
