is there a diy mod for the test fire button? its extremely hard to push and even more difficult at night in pitch dark when im out light painting/night shooting. a friend kicked it down to me. i love the flash as it tells you distance using off camera.
last night was my 1st night out with the flash and i was having to use my triggers antenna to fire the flash and sometimes it would fire 2-3 flashes cause i couldnt see and was spazzin out trying to hurry and get back to the cam to close the shutter.
any help on this would be nice.. its hard holding 2-3 flashes and then have to boogle around trying to get one to fire. i got to many other lights to fool with for this nice flash to treat me like this.
i was thinking of using a thumbtack stuck into the little red rubber test button, but didnt want to go to far. the tack wouldnt even go in. i was scared to force it. haha thats what she said.

this is a mod i did to the test button after trying to light paint one night and having difficulties seeing the button or being able to push the button..
i took a sewing stick pin with a round head. large enough that im able to push and not jam the sewing pin through my thumb..
i then took a pair of wire cutters and snipped off the appropriate length to be able to push the pin into the rubber test fire button. about 5mm long after cutting.
i then got out some super glue to make sure it doesnt get pulled out in the heat of the moment. i barely touch the end of the stick pin in a dab of superglue and slowly pushed the pin into the test fire button...
works like a charm. now i can feel the test button in the dark as well as be able to push it to fire...
