Ya, me too. I coined it during that post, as I thought to myself "no, it isn't two separate actions, it is more of a simultaneous compose-and-focus".
So, there you have it; compocus: the simultaneous composition and focusing of a photograph, paying particular attention to where the focus lands according to the rule of thirds or any other compositional rules you may be following. As the focus changes, composition is often dynamically changed to maintain good proportion, and vice versa. In this way, one can "massage the compocus".
