The photo seems to be lacking sharpness... is this the fault of the size of the image? Composition wise, I think that you have too much sky in the photo. If there were something in the sky, this photo would have worked beautifully. I would have put the horizon on the upper third of the image and gotten more of sense of the surrounding prairie.
