1 is definitely my favourite. Colours are best there. The colours seem a bit washed out on 4 tho I'm not on a good monitor so I'm always a careful when I comment on things like that. I'd like to see some images slightly closer to the water in some cases. Similar to 5 but without the rocks acting like a barrier. Really nice stuff all round.
Scott - a couple of processing comments: shots 1, 2, 4, and 6 seem just a little oversharpened. There is a grainy appearance to the rocks in the foreground that is distracting from some otherwise beautiful images. The second item is that you have some dust on the lens that is visible in shots 1 and 2 just above the mountains on the right hand side.
Back to the images - I like the scenery here and the evening colors/lighting conditions are pretty nice. I like the comps in all 6 shots - well done.
Compositions are pretty nice but the color/contrast seems flat - almost like the wrong color profile is assigned.... and the sharpness is too much - way too much. But the place looks awesome.
I prefer 2, 5, and 6 (have the best light). The colors look pretty accurate to me, but just a little over-sharpened. I find the inclusion of the steps and tree at the right in 1 a bit distracting.
Langran: Thanks for the feedback. Where I was if I went lower the spit was in the way of the land at the end of the lake. I will have to go back and get less busy. Thanks Scott
Alan: Thanks for the feedback on sharpening and spots. See below (I am commenting in reverse) - I am on the road. Thanks for the input. I will have to load up some more software before heading out. Scott
Michael: The first one was actually the last one I shot as an afterthought but it turned out the best for colors. Thanks for the feedback. Scott
Realkulh: The sharpening is too much. I am sharpening on the road. I shall check the color space. Thanks for the feedback. Scott
Icypeak: I am oversharpened because I don't have my cs4. I am on the road (well Jasper Park lodge is not that rough) and only have PSe3 on my son's mac that I borrowed. So I agree. Thanks for the feedback. Scott
