Come on Kurt - my hand of course. I was doing the leaf hold bit when the damsel flew off but came down on my hand about 2 " closer to the camera

I've seen similar shots to the last one done by other macroshooters but this was the first time a damsel landed in a suitable place in my garden for me to try it.

interesting selection, love 2nd damsel, shot one similar colour not sure which species though.

Phil - I'm pretty useless on damsel IDs but think this is a female blue tailed (Ishnura elegans ?). The last one is the other azure species- a common blue female.
