2-4

Added an eyes closed shot at the end of page 1 and another image on page 2. This pitcher (image #4) consistantly closes his eyes at this phase of the pitching motion.

Ted, great shots! I may have some of your son as well, need to check my archives. If so, I will contact you. I occasioanlly shoot the 'Claws and worked for the organization during their inagural season.

Ted,

I sometimes shoot for the Aberdeen Ironbirds. If you even end up in that part of Maryland, let me know.

Nice set Ted. Best of luck for your son.
We'll see them here in Savannah in August. Is he Jordan Ellis, #19? I'll be sure to say hello.

Ted.. you're very lucky to be able to shoot your son. My step son played MiLB and Independent ball for several years..... before I began shooting. I've found from shooting the younger sons lax games, that I would have loved to have shot the MiLB years!!

Best of luck to you and your son!

That's pretty cool Ted, I didn't know that. Send me some bio info on him and I'll update his player page

Lakewood is a beautiful ballpark, much nicer than most Class A venues I think. Did you meet Dave, their team photog?

A weird thing for me to look at a nice series like this, taken 3000 miles away, and see a couple of boys from my neighborhood, Ted. I'm pretty sure that the kid getting mauled in what looks like a homerun jube in #7 is Travis D'Arnaud, a catcher from my son's high school (Lakewood High in the Long Beach, Calif area). Below is a shot of him in the first round of the '07 CIF playoffs, about a couple of weeks before he was drafted 37th overall by the Phillies.
Also in that #7 shot, 3rd from left, is Anthony Gose, drafted in 2008 out of another local high school. He's also the kid in the bunt shot (#9). Below is a shot of him pitching during the '05 Pony All Star playoffs when he was 14.

Friggin small world out there.

Nice series, Ted... and love that ballpark. Nothing but the best to you and your son...

Thanks Dan. I greatly appreciate your helping. I will get back in a PM. Yes I met Dave, he is one heck of a nice guy. He gave me a field pass.
