If Canon were to ever stop producing this lens, I would imagine the value would probably shoot up like the 50/f1...just my guess though, worst case u can always sell it without incurring too much of a loss.

BM Studios - the 2nd shot is stunning and a very good example of how ultra-shallow DOF should be used. But just to be a little nitpicky, I would clone out the 2 or 3 hair strands on the face of the bride.
