Purchased it with my 1D thinking I would get lots of use out of it, but I do not even own a tripod suitable for this. Hopefully it finds a good home.

Markins Q-ball M10 is a best balanced ballhead between its performance and weight. It is very compact and weighs less than 1.1lbs, but it is strong enough to support a large SLR camera with a long and fast telephoto lens. It is an ideal choice for active outdoor photographers.

Your text lists a QR-48 quick release, but your photos show a QS-60.
You might consider clarifying for buyers.

Excellent ballhead. I used an M10 w/QS-60 prior to downsizing to my Q3.

yea, someone else also pointed that out. I really didn't even realize they had different ones.

I have not mounted this one personally. Very slick design, I am just not a tripod user.
