Andrew-Bede, my dear friend, how have you been? I am delighted to see you posting because I have been worried since I haven't heard from you in a long while. I hope all is well.

Excellent macro shot. I love the graininess. It really adds to the abstract quality of the shot. Very creative!

It reminds me of a sunflower. In a movie. Maybe a Fellini movie. Did Fellini do sunflowers in his movies? If not, he should have and they should have looked like this.

Yes! That is, it also reminds me of a sunflower. I think the last time I watched a Fellini film was over 35 years ago (and I'm only 29, isn't that amazing?), and I don't remember much about it. At any rate, this is an intriguing image that has some qualities of a feline eye and others of a flower, and maybe even a barred spiral galaxy.

Cool!

I like it. Reminds me of fun I had many years ago with film grain using a microscope to enlarge small bit of transparencies.

Thanks Photon, I am not a cat-lover so not sure I like my eye being compared to a cat's! Much prefer the barred spiral galaxy comparison!
