Alright folks,

Thanks tons for your input in my initial logo design, now I need to finalize and pick some color

! My graphic design bro created 12 different combos, and these were my top 6 favs but I can't pick a final.

Here's what I believe describes my personality / shooting style best to help with color choices:

Laid-Back
Friendly
Fun
Unobtrusive
Classy
Warm
Professional

I voted 2, because I'm Dutch and therefore prefer orange! (and think it makes the logo a bit more warm and personal)

I can see fun in these but not classy. They look like something i would see on a skate product or clothing but not something i would see on a fine perfume or expensive jewelry.

I think blue is calming and therefor speaks about the laid back vibe you want to put out.

Something to think about:

Green and brown don't clash with other colors. You can put ANY color up to green and it'll look good. But other colors have an antithesis. That's why we use our green "swircle" logo the most (even though we designed our logo to be able to change colors).

I'm with melanie. My color is blue and I use brown as an accent. Sometimes I wish I used green and brown - hence my vote in that direction.

Then again, your description is how I would describe us, and we're blue - so I think 3 would be my second choice.

With all the trendy "think green" marketing gimmicks Green has obviously sold out, left the crayon box and I hear he has a new place in Manhatten. The only place we really need more green is in our wallets.

1 is very 2010 with everything going "green". The gray accent tops it off with that modern feel.

I work for a company SPX who just redid their logo in these colors and I've seen a few others as well.. Check it out at www.spx.com.

sierra, that's a great idea I'll throw that together and see how it looks!

Evert & Colt, I too am a major sucker for orange but want to pick whatever represents my photo style / personality the best, haha

Marcus, I appreciate the honest feedback and can see what you're saying

Mel, I was definitely leaning toward a brown & something color combo for the versatility and warmth of using earth tones, thanks for the insight

Deb, also appreciate your input! On a randomnote your style of shooting / personality reminds me sooooo much of my sister Jenny who's also a wedding / portrait photog . . . crazy!

McGrattan & Gordon - my brother, who's doing all the design on these, says the same thing about using green . . .

Thanks a TON for all of your input, lots of great things to say that I didn't think about myself! Keep dem votes comin, I appreciate it and everyone's feedback helps me so much!

Can I mix&match?

Top part an in 3.
Bottom as the top of 4.
Text as in 5.

The blue of 3 is great, but in combination with the gray is a bit too techie. The Orange-Brown of 4 will warm it up.
Text should match the colors, maybe even same colors - blue for the "dannyROD" and the Orange-Brown for the "PHOTOGRAPHY"?
