Hmmm...love to texture of the rocks, and the b&w conversion...not sure about the pose. While it is only my opinion the poses seems awkward? Keep posting, love to see more.

Bonjour Y + M.

The photo has:

1. Lovely figure (model/body) in it.

2. Very nice texture contrast (smooth skin, rough rocks)

3. Nice light on the skin with nice darker surroundings.

4. Nice muscle showing on the legs and torso.

5. No head

My Simple Suggestion: when a photo of a human figure shows this much of the figure, I prefer to see a head included, so the body does not look "headless" as that is "odd" looking and draws attention to the missing body part.

I hope these comments help and encourage you.

Keep up the good work. I am sure your portfolio will be impressive and memorable...and fun to make.

The pose was a choice, I understand that it perhaps doesn't work. Concept was not to show a simply nude but to play on the texture difference between the rock and the skin combining a graphical insertion of the body in the rock.

This shooting was last year as I'm now reworking on old pictures, applying what I learned from, among other sources, this forum members. The weather here seems to be better than previous weeks so is today the first opportunity to shoot again outdoor nudes

Thanks Steady. I understand your thinking about the "looking to the missing part". Anyway the concept was to shoot without the head to empower the figure in the rock ... and now, it seems that the "empowering process" doesn't work

... hum .. will try to find a way to handle this in next ones

(and I can testimony that M is'nt a heardless body

)
