If you wish to get a more expanded and even rim light a larger size is what you want.
For a fraction of the cost brand mfgs ask, you get a much larger strip from China. E.g. at ebay $ 65 for a 14"x63".
All you have to add is a WL/AB speedring, as the suiting Balcar rings are rarely offered by these importers.
You can get anything cheaper from China, but it may not produce the results you're looking for. A challenge with strip box design is producing even light across a long, narrow surface area. For a standing subject a larger box like Elinchrom's 20" X 50" or Photoflex's Medium Halfdome is what you want. But there are other's too, Chimera, Calumet, Profoto, etc. If you are going to invest in a nice tool like this, don't buy crap.
I like the White Lighting / AlienBees stripbox. It works good for me and can handle two people okay, if they stay together. The foldable is a nice feature to have. I also got the grid accessory for mine.
