p.1 #1 · Now what? (no photos)

Following directions given to me by a birder, I have located an owl nest hole - I don't know what species yet because I haven't seen the owl(s) yet. The sun is in the right position in the PM. What is the best time to catch the birds in or near the nest? I assume just before sundown, but don't really know. Any other pertinent info?

Setup a blind, tripod, some food, water, beer, switch off your mobile and good luck.
