I need to deactivate CS4 from one computer in order to use it on another. I can't find any info anywhere in the software.
Can anyone help?

I don't have the Suite but have you checked the Help menu? That is where Deactivate is for the single products.

Open any of the Creative Suite applications; Photoshop CS4 for example. In the menu bar go to Help > Deactivate and a dialog box will pop up. Choose if you want to erase your serial number from the computer, then click the Deactivate button in the lower right corner.

Now uninstall your software; I like the freeware Revo Uninstaller since it can be configured to remove all traces of Adobe software.

I thought you had to insert the Photoshop CD in order to accomplish this?

Not for CS3/CS4 as they are available for download as well as on disc. So many users don't have a disc to insert>

Interesting. I didn�t know that. I downloaded the trial of CS3, then bought the CD. I�ve never even opened the CD. Just got the serial number off the container the CD comes in. I assumed I was going to have to stick the CD in if and when I step up to CS4.
