Canon are proud today to announce the release three new premium error messages; Err98, Err97 and Err95. These 3 error messages work alongside the current Err99.
The groundbreaking new error messages is what photographers have been asking for in their professional cameras. The error messages come from the new Canon designed and manufactured twin error handling CPU's codenamed FTHIS. These dedicated processors enhances error message type font, vibrancy, and quality, while helping increase the error message display speed by 35 percent compared to the original chip. The new error messages are able to be displayed a whopping 8 errors per second. This is higher than any camera before.
"We've taken some of the burden off Err99 as we felt it was overworked and allocated some errors to the 3 new messages. this is groundbreaking for Canon." said Yukiaki Hashimoto, senior vice president and general manager of the consumer imaging group at Canon U.S.A., Inc., a subsidiary of Canon Inc.
"The new error messages are fully compatible with Windows Vista. Additionally, the new FTHIS supports 23 languages (now including Thai and Arabic) and now has an improved direct printing function that permits greater flexibility in printing error messages."
