I was looking around for at album design for weddings and etc. I was wondering what everyone here use and the most easier and effective/time consuming?

Also is zoho design any good or worth the buy? Thanks in advanced.

do they have a variety of template to choose from and other option? Any link? Also any more tips and advice from others would be nice. Thanks to ppls that just posted.

Are you a professional graphic designer?

If not Page Gallery or You Select It.

Most album designs are bad and unprofessional looking so be honest with yourself.

There are other programs but anything that leaves you to do the design should be avoided.

If you are a graphic designer i would say indesign, but then i wouldn't have to would i?

ALL of these programs have a list of what they provide. Number of templates, if they can do slideshows, SWF or Flash versions, etc. Many also have demos to download. You are going to get people telling you what THEY like. Do a search, download the demos, and play. What is recommended may not be at all what you want.

The net offers us so much but we never do the simplest to reach for it ourselves

It can export JPGs, but doesn't have a slideshow or flash builder in it. It's a design and layout program, so that's what it does.

You can create custom templates, or there's some people that sell some I think.

we have indesign, fotofusion, page gallery and you select it..... we collected them over the years. use them all and love them all. they all serve a purpose. indesign for high end custom wedding books. all the rest for seniors, babys, family and small end wedding albums. gets them done quicker and still with a lot of variety and some customization.

Keep in mind that just because no one mentioned zoho(zolo?) that doesn't mean it's not any good, just not used by anyone here. If they have a free trial, check it out and let us know what you think.
