Sorry I'm not around here as much as I used to be. I've been pulled into portrait photography and so I've been practicing a lot and I've been reading up on portrait forums more often. I just don't have the reach for wildlife

I still love coming here once in a while to see all of your work though. Even though I don't do this type of photography, you all have been major inspiration for me

I do have one photo to share, but it's not of an animal

This was taken about an hour before sunset when I took my kids the park. I tweaked the levels a bit in PS

Just taken handheld with my D300 and 50mm.

That is an awesome image.....looks like you were in the clouds and the moon almost looks like planet earth.

Keep poppin' in....some of those portraits are bound to look like animals

Love this image Jenna, as others have said it really conveys the feeling of being up in the clouds.
Great exposure control to get the detail on the moon.
Very well done. I'll check out your images on the People forum.
