Nowhere near as beautiful as some of the other stuff I've seen on here, but these were taken last summer in Interlaken, Switzerland. Both are 5-8 shot panos - plan on printing both for framing around the house... actual file sizes are massive.
Be harsh FM - that's what you guys are here for! Also, post processing was done in PS and LR, but I'm not all to sure my monitors calibrated correctly - so if anything looks off to you guys, let me know. Hell, one of you can even edit it to suit on your own calibrated monitor if you'd like !!
The mountain in the second picture is the one on the left in the first. The first was taken at about 10,000 feet - after a 2 hour hike to a restaurant!!
My monitor isnt calibrated either, but they seem a bit dark.
There is a lot of detail in there hidden in the darkness. You might want to bring out some detail with some levels or curves adjustments. Maybe some extra saturation too.
The first photo has me stumped. The lake on the far left side is the Thunersee (Lake Thun) and the village of Interlaken is to the immediate right of the lake. The lake on the right which appears to be much higher in elevation "should be" the Brienzersee (Lake Brienze) but the two lakes are only a few feet apart in elevation. Where was this taken, I'm guessing from Schynige Platte or one of the ridgelines near there?
Wonderful pano of a beautiful area
Beaupot - you've got it backwards. Body of water on the left is Lake Brienze and the right is Lake Thun. I took the photo from the opposite side of what you're thinking.
The first photos were taken from the top of the Harder Kulm @ the Harder Kulm Restaurant. Interlaken in the bottom middle, Lake Brienze on left, Lake Thun on right, Mount Eiger, Mount Monch, and the Yungfrau are all in the background (some covered by clouds).
The second photos are of the Schynige Platte - they were taken from the under-side of the bridge in the bottom right of this photo:
Was walking along the railway on the bridge when whats starts to come? A train - imagine that! Had to hop the railing and ended up sitting on a support beam like 50 feet above the water underneath the tracks themselves. At least it made for a decent photo.

Thanks. I'm so used to seeing this view from the south I was trying to force my eye into what was going on - stumped myself. Had I simply looked up into the valley and saw the Jungfrau and its neighbors I'd probably better understood.

Haha, yeah - though it'd help if the stupid clouds hadn't been out that day to cover them up!
I've viewed your beautiful pano's several times now and have just realized an example of my second hobby is evident in the far right side of the first one. Two little colorful paragliders enjoying the thermals. How I wish I could join them there!
