Well, one catch. It's $80 but you get an $80 MIR. Must have US address. Rebate says that you can order up to 3 of them. I've got my order in.
Before you jump, do check out the non-rebate prices for a similar card. Paying $80 for the card is way above the normal pricing these day, and it is not at all uncommon to have to jump through hoops to get your rebate a few months later.
I have pretty much sworn off buying anything via these sorts of "rebate" offers after having problems several times. (And yes, I did follow the rebate instructions to the letter. But I had to resend the copies of the materials and in one case I had to get the manufacturer to intervene.)
I agree about being leery of "to good to be true" offers... but I recently opted to buy CF cards instead of a portable drive for when a lap top is isn't feasible. Spent a little over $500 bucks (for 72gb) after rebates from Sandisk. So this deal looks to good to pass up Can't have enough of these...Wish they were the 16gb size...

Thanks Don for the tip!
Have you tried the colorspace hard drive? It works like a charm for me. Get one without the hard drive and install your own and it's a great deal. Of course, you do occasionally need some power to recharge, but the battery's pretty good.

Yup. The rebate company for Sandisk went under. I'm still waiting for my rebates from early this year & I'm pied.
lol! i stay away from mir! the time, hassle, and patience required to deal with these rebate companies is just not worth it for me. you better hope and pray your rebate comes or you're toast.
I ordered three yesterday from the original link and just received ship notice.
While I am optimistic about the rebate, Adorama & Lexar have both entered into this offer at a time when some rebate centers have gone south. If they knowingly made a bad bargain, there would be legal complications and I would expect either Lexar or Adorama to make good on the offer. You can be sure a lot of folks will be rattling sabers if they get hosed.
