a slight thaw in the frost i managed to find a couple of baby springtails,
about 3/4 mm max in length
shot at x5 & cropped slightly

wish i could find something bigger to shoot!

If these are the same size as a similar species I find, expect they are adults- don't seem to get bigger than about 1mm body length.
