Just curious. Looking for a camrea to convert to full spectrum (IR+UV+Visible, you may have seen a recent post of mine on that topic), and was looking at the XS due to its low cost plus LiveView feature. I was thinking of buying the two lens kit, off loading the lenses to recoup some cost, etc, but then saw a ' Bran New USA warranty' XS body only online. Seems like B&H and adorama don't list the XS as being available as a body only. Is it?
Also, what are some trusted online sellers besides B&H, Adorama, and Beach?

In the US, I believe it is only available with the 18-55 IS lens but it can be bundled with a telephoto lens, which you could easily sell. There might be ebay versions without the lens, but these are probably kits that have been separated. If you can do without live view, Adorama had some refurb XT bodies for about $250.

it may well be available body only. I just searched over here and warehouse express sell it body only for £259 + you also get £30 cahsback (mailin). the value of the kits is pretty good though as the 15-55IS kit is only £60 more ant the double kit that adds the 55-250 adds another £96 on top of that. over here selling both lenses should yeild more than £156 but its always a risk.
I can see that it would make a very good candidate for an IR conversion. The us warranty wont be much good for you though as the conversion will invalidate it so it migt be worth looking to 1 of the HK sellers on ebay for an import if thats any cheaper
