I went to Lake Tarpon today on the way home. I usually do salt water stuff, but thought I'd stop by to see if anything was happening there. All shot with the 40D and 70-300 IS...

1) Squirrel in a tree ISO 400 f5.6 1/125th sec

2) Warbler (I think) ISO 400 f5.6 1/250th sec with pop up flash

3) Moorhen (I think) ISO 400 f5.6 1/125th sec

4) Little turtle - this guy was less than 3 inches long and seemed to be stuck on a branch about 5 inches above the water. ISO 400 f5.6 1/100th sec

Nice turtle - looks to be a slider, possibly a cooter - not 100% on the exact species, but a good shot nonetheless.

Your warbler is a very dull Palm, I think. Moorhen is correct and the turtle, as pointed out, is a Cooter. I hope you rescued the turtle.
