That's nice. I favor a little more dramatic lighting, especially since your treatment would lend itself to a noir-type image -- such as having the shadows a bit deeper. But again, that's just me.
I would also suggest cropping just above her left elbow or vignetting the image so as to tone the elbow down, but that's a very small critique.
with her outfit and her hair color i'd favor a slightly darker background (some shade of gray perhaps)-i also don't care for the hand interrupting the chin like that-my last nit would be to position the eyes slightly more toward center (still looking out of the frame) so that there isn't quite so much of the sclera (whites) showing
hope this is useful-don't mean to pick apart such a lovely photo
Oh come on, why are you teasing us with one at a time selections from this magnificent set!? Show us more! I went to your site and only saw 3 (gorgeous BW there). We demand that you show us all of the shots!
I agree on the crop; just into the black above her own left elbow. You, or somebody, has done a good job of hair control, too. Very few stray hairs to distract.
I have to agree about the eyes in the first shot, and cropping just above the elbow. The other thing I noticed in the 1st image is that the whites of her eyes aren't very white, this is particularly noticeable when you compare it to the 2nd image. Of the two I like the 2nd image better. They're both very good.
