Very nice to see the crops Dave. Personally though, the crops are fine for sharing on the web at 72dpi but really don't help much if your printing them out, of course, unless they are small size prints.
OK, I'm lost, what does 'dpi' have to do with anything going to web?? I'm not thinking that many of what we post ever go to print, well I know mine don't Question #2, where in exif does it say 'dpi' settings??
I can sure relate to how frustrating it is to make a plan to go shoot with the only day off you might have and not get quite close enough for the shot you want. If I had more confidence in my abilities to make crops look this good I would shoot more shots like this and work them, well, maybe I have snuck more than a few in that I have gotten away with lately
COOL loggerhead shrike, that is a neat burdy and a great crop. I think you have a Coopers or Sharp shinned, very similar and I can't figure it out but the skinny legs may make it the Sharp Shinned, nice work on it too First shot of the Canvas Back is the only one that looks like a bit of stretch and it seems it was more the light that hurt it not the crop.
I'm fine with the crops Dave, it's all in what you can make out of them and you seem to do the best with them by far. Put those dang photos back up buddy!
