Hope this is okay to post here. I used my new softbox and pocket wizards for this. I used the softbox set to camera left with the hotshoe flash bounced of the ceiling.
He looks like a lovely, kind dog and you have captured his personality so well. I would perhaps boost the contrast just a little to make him pop out from the background a little more, then enlarge the shot as much as possible and hang it somewhere where everyone could see him.
