Had one of my friends come out and put his new hd camera to use...i forgot what canon cam it was, but it looked pretty slick...
This was just a little impromptu stuff and minor edits were done to the vid itself as you can tell by the quality. But the couple loved the video and wanted a copy of it.
I'm just wondering what you guys would do on this situation?

Music was spew inducing for me because in Australia, Cadbury uses it for a bunch of really annoying TV ads so it's very nauseous...not your fault

I guess I need to ask a lawyer but the cut-off ain't 25 years. My guess is that if ASCAP heard that video our OP would be getting a letter. Of course most of us do this all the time for our personal stuff but when it gets out on the internet like this there could be a problem due to the watchdogs out there.
And yes, Jimi's (God rest his soul, best electric guitar player of all time bar none, no-one even CLOSE, even if you are a Stratocaster-hater) estate is getting paid if the music is in commercial ads.
..I guess a give away wouldn't be bad at all then which i was leaning towards anyway.
