Seems you can order directly from Markins America (in British Columbia) or from Nikonians pro shop. Any difference, or does it not matter? (I'm in Texas)

if you order from Markins America, you stand a chance of receiving it before you're dead.

unlike the Nik. Pro shop which never has them and never knows when they are getting them.

I waited a month for my M10 from NPS and then cancelled the order after repeated 'we dont know when they'll come in'. MA had them on the shelf and in my hands in 2 days.

Just ordered the Q3 ball from them (Markins America) yesterday; have already received email order confirmation and the item is supposed to be shipped Monday (first business day after order) If it arrives before New Years I will consider that great and fast service.

I've had good luck ordering from both Markins America and PhotoProShop. It took longer to get my order from MA than from PPS. PPS is in LA, next door to TX. I got my M10 in 2 days. Also, I've had good customer service from both.

I ordered a Q3 two days ago on Sunday. Yesterday, Monday, it was shipped with delivery scheduled for Friday, Jan. 2nd. Interesting, though, Markins America ships from BC, Canada. Guess they mean to call it "Markins North America" eh?

I believe I ordered my M10 in 2004 or early 2005. At that time, my only option, as far as I could determine, was the Nikonians website; I don't think Markins America had yet been established, but I could be mistaken. My order was delivered in a few days, with no problems whatsoever.

Markins America was just outside of Toronto in 2004 they then moved to BC

Markins America in Nov 2007. It took less than a week to arrive in Atlanta.

The M20 is the finest ballhead I have ever used.

WOW, talk about hitting every state west of the Mississippi to get to me from BC, Canada.

I ordered the Markins Q3 ballhead on 12/27/08 and they shipped on 12/29....initially the UPS tracking said it would be delivered on 01/02/09 which I thought was great for ground shipping then.....the anticipated delivery date went blank but I continued to follow the package's progress through the UPS system. On 01/07 it finally showed up as to be delivered on the 8th. Man, what a tracking log.
