tf,
I really like the seeing and capture of all three of these photographs.
The processing is a bit over-the-top for my taste, but then, I prefer vanilla ice-cream to chocolate, so what the heck do I know?
Numbers one and three look very oversharpened on my monitor.

on #1 and #3 I have to agree that the processing is slightly over the edge ... for my taste. But still nice image. I also fondly remember the place, got some relatives nearby (Amesbury)
having the feet cut off in the last one does bother me a bit. This way I am not sure if the image is about the two girls, or about the spire #3 also works nice with a square crop of the top part!
Thanks guys for your comments -- I took this pics in MAY this year -- I've been shooting with DSLR for 6 months only -- this pics were originally taken as JPGs - I didn't have any experience with RAW
@ regaridng the sharpness -- camera (EOS 30D) was set -- at the level 3 --
the sharpness of the picture of the door and my girls with the tower on the background comes from lens -- both Distagons - 4/18 and 2.8/28 are quite sharp -- especially in the middle ...
@Alex_B -- composition with girls and their lost feet --I was trying to take some picture -- didn't reckon with a better composition - mea culpa -
I am offering original versions -- with a small PP in Adobe LR - including 2 more ... any comments welcome again
tf,
Alas, I'm a conservative old geezer who thinks documentary but seldom "creative."
And I prefer the originals.
But if it feels good to you and it doesn't break any serious laws, what the heck....do it.
