I had about an hour to do this shoot, and did part of it at night (the night shots were my favorite). This was a very traditional shoot for a traditional bride, but I tried to throw in a few "artsy" shots. I haven't shot at this park for a while, because my taste gravitated toward grunge/urban, but I liked going back. Let me know what you think...C&C appreciated.
these are lovely, cathy. she has a beautiful and such consistent smile!
the only point out from me is that 11 is a little cooler than the others.
3 & 10 are my favorites.
cathy, this is a lovely, traditional set (i don't mean that in a bad way)-few thoughts:
shot 1-love tight crops but wish the chin wasn't cut into-little more room for the chin would be perfect for me
shot 2-i love this type of detail shot-i'm noticing, though, that while the lines of the necklace lead to the pearl, the lines of the dress collar (?) run vertically, pulling away from the leading lines to the pearl
shot 4-very pretty-well done
shot 5 & 6-very nice lighting-you've really upped your game in the lighting department
shot 7-i love this one! great lines-bridge if the perfect height for her
the rest seem to be variations of the others-great set-i agree that your bride should love these
Great stuff. You def. pulled off traditional, in a good way. I love the sharpness of the first 3... I think my monitor just bled a little I really like 7, 10, and 13.
very cool thanks for sharing... shows that someone still wants a bit of traditional even tho it isn't groundbreaking. I really wish brides out west (Southern Arizona in specific) would do bridal's... sure would take some pressure off of the wedding day.
I actually ooooh'ed and ahhhhhh'ed at #12. I also love #4 as I am a sucker for a nice reflection in the composition.
stunning classic shots...particularly liked #13. 8 is light just beautifully...perfect kiss of fill light! love the drama of #9 with the hint of the dark night sky. well done.
Cathy...beautiful shots. They all look like they should be printed on canvas.
While she does have a lovely smile...I wish she didn't have the same lovely smile in all the pictures. After looking at the series, it makes me feel as if her smile was painted on.
But that is a total nit on what is a very, very well done series.
