p.1 #1 · "The Old Mill"

Going through some old sheet film I've got...

This is the same old mill shown at the very beginning of the film "Gone with the Wind". It is located near Little Rock, Arkansas. I took this with my 4x5 view, 90mm Schneider Componon, and Tri-X Pro at ISO 160. Scanned negative with a Canon 9950F.

Nicely done. Great dof on the image (probably helped by the camera) Nice crisp details, and a very pleasing comp.

My favorite post from you yet, Morgan. I really like this. I like the depth, the sharpness, the comp, and the tone! Cool catch on the refletion, too. Nicely done!

Thanks Tim and T-Bone. Sort of wish I still had my film equipment after looking at the old negs today. Sure was a lot more work, especially hauling the view camera and tripod everywhere I went

Might get another just for those special places...
