p.1 #1 · PDX Composite. C&C Please.

This is a composite "template" that I have made for a pseudo-fraternity that my friends have made up. I would like some comments or criticism. Pictures were taken with a 40D, 24-105 L, and 580EXII on camera right.

I think it's a neat idea, if I'm honest I don't like the texture to the background and personally would opt for a light shade of solid grey, until it fills up I would also put the lower right hand lady in the middle of the bottom row to balance the image a bit. Lastly I would use a lighter shade of grey for the blank images as they are a fair bit stronger than the people and draw the eye away from them.

I might have to do something like this for our family tree

I could agree with your background suggestion, I was thinking of a neutral beige color. I just thought the texture added a little touch for the digital image to simulate pictures on paper.

We still have 8 more people to take pictures of, so all the blocks will be filled but that would be a good suggestion based on the number of people currently on the composite.
