p.1 #1 · Chile/Argentina Panoramas 1st series

This was a series of panoramas i made. The image is composed by 5 or 6 photos and then worked in the Panorama Factory to stich them. No top quality but i liked the final result.
The photos are 1280px wide. I have bigger but much more and it starts to go off th screen.

It's a glacier. Perito Moreno, one the only 'still advancing' glaciers in the world.
Most of them are receding.

Pedro, bien hecho! Shots look lovely.
I will be there myself in 2 weeks, you got my mind working for 'Parque Nacoinal Los Glacieres'

That's not entirely accurate. There are many, many advancing glaciers around the world. That's not to say that there aren't a lot receding, but there are a whole lot that are growing (and causing problems while doing so).

These are very nice shots Pedro! I'd love to see more from your trip.

Perhaps I've been mislead. I understood that the majority of glaciers on the planet were receding.

there are over 3000 glaciers in new zealand, beleive it or not. 90% of those including the two main ones fox and frans josef are still advancing.

great shots by the way, would love to get to chile and patagonia one day.

Hi Pedro,

Nice use of the pano perspective in both of these. The second one is really something.

Thank you all! The 2nd was the hardest because of the different light in the whole frame. The clouds above where blocking the light but not evenly trough out the glacier.

Beautiful glacier photo! And I appreciate the lessons on advancing and receding glaciers by other posters.

Love the second... not very often you get such a comprehensive view of a glacier like that!
