I'm using the PW Plus II and I'm not particularly happy with how difficult and slow it is to spin down the lock to secure it on to the hot shoe. Has anyone applied a lubricant to make it spin easier. The first step before applying any lubricant, which will just attract more gunk, would be to clean it carefully with a cleaner like 409 or Windex. If cross threaded lubrication will not help much.
