p.1 #1 · spotter scope with G10 | |
Ok this is something that a lot or birders are doing that I have just heard about in a photography magazine, using a spotting scope with a point and shoot or a DSLR or SLR with an adapter ( I now feel like a kid thats just found an old trick )
I do like to take nature photo's from a distance but buget has limited me to a Canon 70-300mm IS, in quite a few occasions 300mm isn't enough particularly to get the heron at my local pond bigger in the frame than a 6th, I know I can get high end telephotos but the price scares my wallet into retreat, also I won't use it enough to warrent the cost.
So the question is if anyone has tryed this or is still using the technique of a spotting scope with a camera could you please suggest a good scope with LD glass, or even if there is a scope that could mount cir polarizer and UV filters, bearing in mind I still have to get the G10 which I have been looking at for a while as a smaller take anywhere camera for £300+ so the scope would have to be around £400-500
