I received my 85mm and had a chance to use it in the real world this past weekend. The following pictures are all straight from the camera (raw) exported from DPP as JPEG.
I've reduced them to 1200x800 as my work computer is pretty slow. When I get chance I will PP these and put up some 100% crops.
I was happy with the Bokeh and DOF, but the manual focus is tough especially in little to no light.
Thanks for posting these shots. The flower and piano shots and the last one with the four guys show some pretty decent performance. With regard to the manual focussing, if you haven't done it before it definitely takes some practice--I'm still working on that myself. Also, if you are using the stock viewfinder screen you will likely benefit a lot by replacing it with a screen that makes manual focus easier to identify. There are several options for such screens and there is a thread lower in the page that discusses them. Good luck and thanks again for sharing your shots.
