I can never get near a Western Grebe, while the Widgeons think they're my best friends. Nice series, Tim, and I'm jealous of your Grebe

Hi Garen,
You got it, these were all taken today in about a 3 hour window before the weather turned.

Superb shots Timmy boy IF egret is my fav. If that is full frame than you're freakin' tracking monster not to let it slip out of the frame. In order to keep it in frame I need the bird to fill max. 60%. guess I need more practice

Hi Tim,
I had seen the Loon on and off for about a week now, it was either to far
off or the fog/clouds were just to thick to get a good shot.
Persistence finally paid off.

MAggie,
Isn't odd that some critters in some locals behave
differently that others in other places. Environmental conditioning?

Tim,
Good shot of the Loon with the outstretched wings. We saw it again today, but not too close. The Peregrine Falcon started on a brief chase of our resident Kingfisher. Looks like the KF survived cause we could still hear it a few minutes later. There was the RTH and RSH down low in the fenced-off "sensitive habitat" area.

Thanks Nello,
Sorry I have not responded sooner... computer problems. The RE was a hurry point and shoot, it came out of nowhere and I got 2 shots off, I was lucky
